Q: How often should I get my boiler serviced?

A: We recommend having your boiler serviced once a year to keep it running safely and efficiently. Annual servicing also helps meet warranty requirements and prevent unexpected breakdowns.

Q: What types of boilers do you service?

A: Our fully-qualified Gas Safe and OFTEC registered engineers service all major system types, including gas, LPG and oil boilers, as well as unvented hot water cylinders.

Q: How long does a boiler service take?

A: Most boiler services take around one hour to complete. Oil boiler servicing usually takes a little longer — around two to two and a half hours.

Q: How much does a boiler service cost?

A: A standard gas or LPG boiler service in Stafford costs £70 including VAT. Oil boiler servicing costs £189 including VAT. Prices may vary depending on your location or system setup.

Q: What’s included in a boiler service?

A: Your engineer will check for leaks or corrosion, clean key components, test safety devices, check flue emissions, and make sure your boiler is burning fuel safely and efficiently.

Q: Do you provide certificates after servicing?

A: Yes. We issue a 12-month certificate at the time of invoice for your records. Landlords also receive Gas Safety Certificates as part of their annual compliance checks.

Q: What areas do you cover?

A: We provide servicing across Stafford and nearby areas including Stone, Uttoxeter, Newport, Cannock and Rugeley.

Q: What happens if my boiler has a fault during the service?

A: If we find any issues, we’ll give you a clear quote for any recommended repairs using genuine manufacturer parts where possible. Safety issues are dealt with immediately, and an “at risk” notice may be issued if necessary.
